Farm children grow up seeing their parents go through good years and lean years. They see the natural beauty, the joys, and the stress that often accompany living on a farm, and relying on it for a living. Farming influences the way you think, the things you value, and the way you live.

It is our job, as the state's young farmers to see to it that we preserve our rich agricultural heritage, while protecting the 'way of life' we hold so dear.

2012 Commodity Conference and Young Farmers Summer Meeting

The Young Farmers Discussion Meet and Excellence in Agriculture Contests will be held in conjunction with the 2012 Commodity Producers Conference in Mobile, Alabama August 2-5. There will also be farm tours and educational workshops of interest to Young Farmers. Sign up is under way, so contact your county Farmers Federation if you would like to compete in either of these events, or just come be a part of the Conference!
